The Students of GCET 12IT and 13IT went for an industrial visit at BISAG, Gandhinagar organized by Information Technology department, GCET under the guidance of Mr. Bhargesh Patel, Mr. Jay Vala and Ms. Prachi Patel. Bhaskaracharya Institute of Space Applications and Geo - informatics is an institute for planninganddevelopmentactivities pertaining to griculture, Infrastructure, Education, Flood and Resource Management.We left GCET, V.V. Nagar at 8:45 AM and reached at BISAG, Gandhinagarnearly by 11 AM. We have visited BISAG in the three phases.In first phase we had visited the studio,they have informed about the technologies that are being used by the BISAG for live telecast of programs such as Educational, even programs related to technical courses covered byGTUunderALVCOM.In second phase was the control room, they have explained abou t the live telecast and also for the mixing of audio and video for live programs. In third phase we had attended seminar related to space research , geo - informatics and services rendered by the institute. As hok sir has told us about the BISAG and also how t hey managing agriculture, infrastructure, flood and resource from the images of satellites
