The CHARUTAR VIDYA MANDAL UNIVERSITY’s Department of Chemical Engineering of G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology (GCET) had organized a industrial visit to Colourtex pvt. ltd, vilayat, Dahej. 30 Pre-final year students along with Dr Anand Metre, Associate Professor and Lab Assistant Mr. Dharmendra Patel were a part of the visit. The company manufactures the dye intermediate named Para-Chloro Aniline and di-chloro Aniline. Dr. Mahesh Vasi, Site head, briefed about the company and its processes carried out in their plant. The students interacted with the operators while visiting different sections of industry. Mr. Yagnesh Pandya, safety auditor shared a lot about his experiences about safety with all the students as the company was celebrating the National Safety week. Overall it was great experience for the students. They learned a lot during their visit.
