The CSI Student branch at G. H. Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) organized a coding contest on C/C++, “CodeVie 5.0”, on 13th September, 2019. The event was preceded by a SIG (Student Interest Group) on C/C++ to motivate students to take up competitive programming. The SIG was organized for the first and second year students of Computer Engineering and Information Technology Department. The first session of SIG was on basics of C exclusively for 1st year students. The second session of SIG provided exposure of various competitive programming platforms to the students. The contest was organized for the first, second and third year students of Computer Engineering and Information Technology Department. The contest comprised of two rounds, both of which were hosted on HACKEREARTH.
