G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), a Charutar Vidya Mandal institute, Vallabh Vidyanagar, organized a workshop on “FLY (Finding The Leader in You)”, which was conducted by Anuja Amin and Viraj Vora on 7th & 8th February, 2020 from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM at Chemical AV Room(C-204). It was coordinated by Prof. Aakarsh Jain, Prof. Purnank Bhatt Assistant Professor, Mechanical department and Prof. Deven A. Gol, Assistant Professor, IT department. There were 40 students present for the workshop.

The speaker, Anuja Amin started the seminar by giving us a brief idea about the norms which a person should follow in his/her day-to-day life. The norms that we understood are as follows, Listen actively, without interrupting, Be receptive to others’ ideas, Be punctual and respectful of allotted time, Speak up - it’s more important than you think, Be precise and to the point, Don’t monopolize time, encourage everyone to speak, Criticize ideas, not individuals, If you disagree, propose an alternative that you think is better
