GCET EC Department have signed an MoU with Texas Instruments (TI). As a part of this MoU, a Competition named "ANALOG DESIGN CONTEST- 2015" has been organized. The contest was consisting two levels. " First Level: Students will have to take an online quiz based on "WEBENCH" software. " Second Level: An Op-Amp based circuit was given, which students have to analyze then simulate using TINA software and final verification of output using actual implementation on bread board.FIRSTLEVEL:(15thSeptember,2015)Once department has announced details about this contest, there was an enthusiastic response from students. Department has decided to allow only second and third year students to participate.48 teams have registered for the contest, each team consisting of two members.?To make the students awareabout"WEBENCH" software, department sessions for each level students. Finally, on 15th September, 2015 first level was organized and completed successfully. Department is fully equipped with Computer Lab facilities, we have divided two groups of students at different labs and internet facility was also provided as the quiz was based on "WEBENCH", which is an online tool. The quiz was conducted with the staff members.
