The Chemical Engineering Department, GCET, V.V.Nagar has organised an industrial visit to Meghmani Finechem Limited, Dahej on 7th September 2019. Total 57 students from the 2nd year chemical engineering had visited the industries along with faculty member Prof. Vinay B Patel, Trainee Lecturer Harshita Patel and Lab assistant Mr. Deepak Macwan. Special Thanks to the Plant In charge, Human Resource department and the process engineering department for such a nice and informative visit for 2nd Level (3rd Semester) chemical engineering students. The visit started with safety tips by the safety inspector Mr. Milin Sir. He covered the rules and regulations of the company and had given various energetic tips to the students regarding the precaution that need to be taken while moving for the plant visit. The three groups were formed of 19 students each and visit fly on for next 3 hours in the plant. The caustic soda and pre-treatment plant for water treatment, power plant were the three key structures that students have been focused on. The students finally got the certificate from the company in the form of token of gratitude and the visit was full of interaction, knowledge gaining and enthusiastic as well. The visit was followed by Lunch given by company. We are very much thankful to MFL, our management (CVM) and department for organizing this wonderful industrial visit.
