A one week Short Term Training Programme on “Applications of Physics and Mathematics in Engineering (APME-18)” was organized by Applied Science and Humanities Department, G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology, GCET on 30th April, 2018. The programme was supported by GUJCOST, IAPT and ISTE. The STTP is the maiden programme, organized in Gujarat with the aim to enlighten the established areas of physics and mathematics as well as to explore the new avenues of two fundamental sciences viz. physics and mathematics in the field of engineering.
Total 15 sessions were conducted throughout the week. Experts in the field of Mathematics and Physics from pan Gujarat have given the privilege of their knowledge to the participants. Total 38 participants from engineering, science and interdisciplinary institutes have enthusiastically participated in the programme.
