Regional Telecom Training Centre , Ahmedabad is one of the prime training centres of BSNL in the western region. The Centre is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institute.The Institute is constantly making endeavors to provide customized as well as tailor made quality training to the outside agencies in the field of Mobile Communication, Optical Fibre Communication, Computer Networking and IP Addressing, Broadband, WiFi , WiMax etc.
We arrived at BSNL-RTTC, Jagatpur at 12:00PM After that the students were divided in two groups each with 1 faculty-member. During the visit the students were informed of the Telecom equipments and working in the network. The models and equipments were distributed in various labs of RTTC listed as below:A working GSM BTS in Lab along with actual Tower Antenna,Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Lab,Broadband Technology Lab,IPv6 and Computer Network Lab,Optical Fiber Cable and System Lab,Telecom Museum,Digital Telephone Exchange - C-Dot Lab. After completion of visit we came back to GCET at 5:00 PM.
It was a Wonderful experience for all students as well for staff. Every student was very co-operative to each-other as well to the faculties. Students were acquainted of communication technologies in BSNL RTTC. We (all students and staff members) are very much thankful to Dr. Himanshu Soni, Principal of G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology and Dr. Maulika Patel, Head of Computer Engineering Department for giving their valuable support.We are also very much thankful to Shri. Himanshu Sadhu, Sub Divisional Engineer (Mktg.) of BSNL & other staff for their co-operation during the visit.
