An expert talk was organized by Mechanical Engineering Department. Dr. Vishvesh Badheka, Professor and Head, Mechanical Engineering Department, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, delivered a talk on the theme of “Fundamentals and advances on friction stir welding process”. He delivered his lecture on the friction stir welding process, additive metal deposition using welding and surface hardening of metal using friction welding. Students of 2nd-year mechanical engineering attended the session from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on 30th March 2019.
