The Department of Information Technology, G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology organized a seminar on “Pencil: A tool for UI/UX Design” on Saturday, 23rd February 2019. The event was coordinated by Prof. Bhargesh Patel. The seminar was delivered by Mr. Shashank Nanda, Lead Analyst, Cygnet Infotech, Ahmedabad. His areas of expertise are SDLC, Wireframe Mockup and BI Analytics. He has delivered expert talks and workshops on said areas at reputed nstitutes of the state.

20 students of the third year, 3 students of M.E and 7 faculty members of Information Technology Department were benefitted by this seminar. The expert discussed the benefits of Pencil tools for designing UI for clients. He also made aware students about importance of analysis and design of system with respect to industry aspects. The real time demonstration of pencil was shown with sample examples.
