Information Technology Department, G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), Vallabh Vidyanagar has organized an alumni talk on “Introduction to DevOps” on 31st December, 2018 from 02:30 PM to 03:30 PM. This session was organized for all third year students of the department.

It was conducted by Mr. Bhavin Patel, who is currently working as Deputy General Manager at Reliance Jio, Mumbai. He has more than 15 years of experience in IT industry. It was an interactive session with discussion about software development life cycle. Following topics were discussed during the talk; Importance of SDLC and DevOps in IT field, Future trends in software development, Different development architecture, DevOps toolset, Current opportunity in IT and Telecom industry.
