As a social responsibility of faculty and staff members of GCTE, we have organized a seminar on "Energy Conservation and Basic Electrical Safety" at S D Desai High School, Vallabh Vidyanagar on 3/2/2016, Wednesday from 10:30 to 12:00. More than 100 students of standard 8 and 9 attended the seminar. Two sessions were delivered as per the following detail: In the first session, the need of energy conservation was explained. Also, the students were informed about the steps to save the energy in day to day life. In second session, students were informed about the basic safety practice essential while handling the electrical appliances. Some videos regarding energy conservation and safety were also played. At the end there was a session of question-answer in which many doubts of students were solved.
