Graduating   students  from any  institution,   not  only represents  the   quality  of education but also constitute an ever-growing company of well-wishers.  They help improve the academics of the institution, and if they join hands, then the help they would provide will be remarkable.With this aim, an Alumni Association is formed at GCET to bring together our alumni and  well  wishers,  to create a force  that binds  alumni, well wishers, faculty and students together that provides support to the fulfillment of the institute’s mission.GCET Alumni Association (GAA) is an association of students, staff, friends and well wishers of GCET, formed with the objective of promoting academic activities at GCET, including, but not limited to:

o   Availing financial aid for needy and deserving students.

o   Honoring bright students with scholarships and/or prizes.

o   Arranging book-bank facility for needy students.

o   Promoting sports, cultural and literary activities.

o   Taking care of general development of GCET, its faculty and students.

o   Increasing interaction between academician and people in practical field in order to improve the standard of teaching and recommend to authorities to modify the courses time to time as per actual needs.

o   Exchanging views and experiences of alumni for betterment of students.

o   Establishing and maintaining contacts among past and present students and teaching staff of GCET.

o   Helping deserving present students financially for educational purposes.

o   Printing and circulating Newsletter for Alumni.

o   Arranging meetings of Alumni members.

GCET has come into existence in year 1996. Graduated students have shown their talent in various fields. The need for alumni association is very obvious. On this platform we can establish a strong bond for association among past students, present students and faculty members. This will help us creating a sense of devotion and love for the institution. Such an Association will serve as a connecting link between the institution and outside world. This will also help in maintaining a very high standard of education by exchanging technical knowledge among members.
